All photos were taken on PS5 in Quality mode with ray-tracing, and post-processed in Affinity Photo. Cinematic angles are the result of looking through the telescope, or crouching in front of a large rock to clip the camera through my character.

A large drowned tree in the heart of the Church District, now revealed by the receded waters. The chamber is dense with fog, and a succession of pointed archways - two wide, two narrow - lead the eye deeper into the structure. Chandeliers hang from the vaulting above, and a set of wooden stairs curves to the left to a mezzanine level with an ornate wooden rail. A stone archway in a shattered wall leads deeper into the woods, where dark trees rise silhouetted and jagged into the mist. A shallow river runs through the shrouded woods, past patchy grass and eroded cliffs studded with gravestones. Shafts of pale light pierce the gloom, casting long shadows of dark trees and finger-like branches between the godrays. An oppressively dark forest, far from the pale light which creeps in from above. Silhouetted trees stand vertical with spindly branches, and the forest floor grows only brown grass and sickly yellow flowers. In the distance, the shapes of larger trees emerge from the pale blue fog, vast trunks reaching desperately for the light. A gloomy ruined chapel on the forest's edge, where the piercing gold of grace is the only respite against the pink-gray shadows creeping in from all sides. Ivy still drapes from the stonework, but no more than a passing silhouette. A corrupted stream veined with malevolent red, flowing sluggishly through a dark forest drowned in blue mist. Above the stream, cliffs crowd in to either side, above dark silhouettes of spindly trees. Three horned figures in yellow-brown robes and carrying branching torches patrol through a corrupted river in a dark forest. Veins of red-gold light threads through the riverbed, and yellow and orange flowers grow in clumps along the banks. Spindly trees reach upwards, silhouetted against a pale blue fog, and in the distance, a massive tree trunk stands partially obscured in the mist. A handful of grey-wooled sheep stand in a shallow lake, drinking from the dark-red water. The scene is dark, the only light coming from feverish-yellow veins running through the rock of the lakebed, and thin needle-like trees rise from the water towards the thundering waterfalls emerging from the cliff beyond. In the foreground, a flush of bright yellow flowers bring an unsettling light to the shore. A shambling humanoid figure robed in black stumbles through a shadowed stream veined with yellow light. Their head is monstrously swollen, shining fetid yellow light, and encased in a cage of black tendrils. Around them, the wood is dark and still, needle-like trees looming over patches of yellow and orange flowers and tall grasses turned orange-brown through their long deprivation. The entrance-hall to a large stone manor house, full of ash and debris. Scattered pieces of wooden furniture are toppled amidst burned piles of books, and the air is heavy with ash. A wide arched tunnel - decorated with stone-carved pillars and archways - leads up a flight of stairs into the main hall of the house.
